For Teens and Adults
Are you sick of procrastinating work or key areas of life (i.e. getting healthier, being social, freeing your creativity, going to bed on time, etc.) but can’t seem to move forward?
Are you – or your parents, spouse, friends – convinced that with more discipline, willpower, or motivation you could get unstuck?
Are you ready to discover a new way of procrastinating that allows you to make progress without constantly fighting yourself?
I totally get it.
My name is Julie Gray and I was in the same boat for years. Constantly putting off important and not so important parts of life and driving myself crazy in the process.
Growing up was tough because I resisted so much of the change that constantly surrounds you. I didn’t want to do things wrong. I didn’t want to get hurt. And I definitely didn’t want to look stupid! So I over-thought everything, stubbornly opposed what I could, and generally tip-toed my way through life.
I spent much of my twenties researching how to fix myself – how to stop procrastinating and be more productive – especially in the areas that scared me the most. I learned a lot, made progress, and eventually started coaching others with similar challenges.
While I was thrilled with these results nothing transformed my experience so completely than a realization I had in 2014 about how life is working behind-the-scenes. This insight and others have allowed me to navigate the push and pull of my thoughts and feelings far more effectively than anything I’ve learned previously.
The biggest insight of all?
That we can have insights. And that they are far more normal and common than I thought was possible.
When we fully leverage our innate capacity for insight – we have stepped out of the old cycle of forcing and fighting against life. We have tapped into a deeper part of ourselves that is more clear and wise. This is what I call Insightful Procrastination and Productivity.
“My work with Julie has transformed my life and my internal world at a pace that has been comfortable for me. The work is subtle but it goes deep. I found myself beginning to change without all the efforting and desperate self-help activities that are so in vogue now (and that had never worked for me).
Julie’s work has been life changing in the realms of time management, however I personally consider her work “become authentic to yourself’ coaching.” – Nancy, Wisconsin.

How It Works

“Working with you has completely changed my life. I see myself in a whole different light. I see myself as a successful, productive person. I do not beat myself up like I use to do. “My mind is considerably calmer – I am able to identify ‘thought storms’ sooner and have less interest in staying at the center of them. This has opened opportunities for living in the moment, considerably reduced self criticism and opened my mind to new ideas. It is a softer approach to taking action.” – Kitty G., Northern Virginia

“Julie Gray has had amazing impact on me as a Time Management Coach. She uses her skills to truly understand the real issues behind what we seem to think is time management. It’s really self management. Julie has helped me “try on” solutions that fit the way my brain works. There are no cookie cutter approaches—she looks at the core issues and has helped me come up with a plan. I highly recommend her to anyone who is overwhelmed and seeking relief.
